Does the person who rents a car at a rental place like avis, for example, need to be present when returning.

Im in LA…I need to rent a car on tuesday, then I am driving to San Diego and am coming back on friday night (after car rental places close)…. Then I am leaving on a flight to seattle for a week on the following day (saturday) in the morning… Can I have my son bring the car back on saturday b/c i wont have time to do it before my flight???

Drop it of Friday night. There should be a key drop. Or Saturday morning before you flight.
